The Rode NT1 has been a strong option for a no-nonsense condenser microphone for many years, having even been used for a number of well-known recordings.

The Rode NT1 5th Generation takes the classic sound signature of their iconic NT1 up a level adding cutting-edge, next-generation technology. Redeveloped from the ground up to deliver exceptional audio with unmatched versatility, the NT1 5th Generation features a world-first hybrid XLR/USB output that allows it to be connected to a mixer or interface, or to a computer for direct recording.

For spur‑of‑the‑moment recordings and classic NT1 sound, you can just plug the mic in and go, however when connected by USB, NT1 5th benefits from world class Aphex Audio Processing.
In order to access the full control you'll want to install the Rode Connect utility. This allows you to aggregate multiple Rode USB devices and perform low‑latency cue mixing. It also reveals that there’s a lot more going on inside the NT1 than mere A‑D conversion.
Clicking on the NT1 icon within Rode Connect brings up an editing window that exposes multiple parameters inlcuding gain control that runs from 0 to +60 dB in 1dB steps, and below this you’ll find buttons for a high‑pass filter which can be engaged at 75 or 150 Hz. For advanced APHEX audio processing, there are also four icons to the right of the gain control engage simple ‘one‑button’ noise gate, compressor, Aural Exciter and Big Bottom processing.

All items are sent with DPD. For added security, expensive items will require a pin code at delivery which is emailed to you.

DPD aims to deliver next day, but some remote parts of the UK may experience a two day service.

Returns.

Should you wish to change your mind, you have 30 days from the date of receipt to do so. Simply drop us an email to info@westenddj.co.uk and we'll guide you through the process.

Westend DJ recommend that you open any items received from us carefully, as any damage to the internal packaging or missing items may incur a discretionary re-stocking fee.

Some goods are not eligible for return. This is because they are either consumables or due to hygiene reasons, these include: microphones, effect fluids, styli, crossfaders and line faders, headphones and replacement parts.

  • All products are backed up by a minimum 12 month
    manufacturer warranty.
  • Items that are faulty within thirty days of receipt are
    considered Dead on Arrival or Faulty out of Box. For these returns, we will arrange for the goods to be collected so that they can be returned free of
    charge.
  • Items that display a fault after the thirty-day period are covered under manufacturer’s warranty. During the first six months of ownership, we’ll collect any faulty items from you free of charge where convenient for you.
  • Outside of 6 months, the cost of return rests with the
    customer, if you’re struggling to ship a large item back to us, or if this is proving to be expensive please give us a call – we’ll arrange for DPD to collect the item for a fee.
  • Once warranty repairs are received back with us, we’ll perform a quick test to verify the issue to avoid no fault found fees. Next, we’ll arrange to send the faulty goods to the manufacturer to be repaired. This process normally takes around two to four weeks; however, we cannot provide a guaranteed timeframe.
