The Pioneer DJ PLX-CRSS12 is a hybrid turntable that has been developed to deliver the ultimate DVS experience while retaining playback of traditional vinyl when the timecode signal isn’t required. Aimed squarely at the turntablist world, this battle oriented deck is perfect for cyphers on the biggest of stages!

Offering tone-arm free DVS timecode playback for both Rekordbox and Serato DJ, the PLX-CRSS12 utilises a specially designed MAGVEL CLAMP to both hold your vinyl in place and convert movements to digitally control digital music files. The MAGVEL CLAMP also has adjustments for torque control, allowing you to dial in your perfect “weight” setting. Further control over the playback characteristics of the CRSS12 can be achieved by further adjusting the torque in the utility menu. In addition, the stop speed can also be changed using the switch located on the front of the deck.

Continuing with the theme of hybrid creativity, the PLX-CRSS12 is equipped with 4 MIDI-mappable performance pads. These RGB pads feature native support for Hot Cue, Sampler, Stems, Scratch Bank, Roll and Saved Loop within Serato DJ Pro. Rekordbox has a slightly different set of controls mapped natively which include Hot Cue, Sampler, Track Separation, Sample Scratch, Pad FX1 and Beat Jump.

Visual feedback is provided via a built-in OLED display. Using the decks in battle position allows clear visibility of key when Step Pitching. When the deck is in Digital Vinyl mode, you’ll be updated with key track information including BPM, key, deck number information and which software you’re running. The display also provides all of the utility settings info, allowing you to focus on the deck and your performance without needing to menu dive on a laptop or PC.

As with all the recent flagship products from Pioneer DJ, the PLX-CRSS12 features improved high-quality sound over the previous high-end deck (the PLX-1000). Refinements have been made to the signal path, with transformer power supply vibration and flux leakage eliminated to ensure pristine audio reproduction.

DPD aims to deliver next day, but some remote parts of the UK may experience a two day service.

Returns.

Should you wish to change your mind, you have 30 days from the date of receipt to do so. Simply drop us an email to info@westenddj.co.uk and we'll guide you through the process.

Westend DJ recommend that you open any items received from us carefully, as any damage to the internal packaging or missing items may incur a discretionary re-stocking fee.

Some goods are not eligible for return. This is because they are either consumables or due to hygiene reasons, these include: microphones, effect fluids, styli, crossfaders and line faders, headphones and replacement parts.

All products are backed up by a minimum 12 month
manufacturer warranty.
Items that are faulty within thirty days of receipt are
considered Dead on Arrival or Faulty out of Box. For these returns, we will arrange for the goods to be collected so that they can be returned free of
charge.
Items that display a fault after the thirty-day period are covered under manufacturer’s warranty. During the first six months of ownership, we’ll collect any faulty items from you free of charge where convenient for you.
Outside of 6 months, the cost of return rests with the
customer, if you’re struggling to ship a large item back to us, or if this is proving to be expensive please give us a call – we’ll arrange for DPD to collect the item for a fee.
Once warranty repairs are received back with us, we’ll perform a quick test to verify the issue to avoid no fault found fees. Next, we’ll arrange to send the faulty goods to the manufacturer to be repaired. This process normally takes around two to four weeks; however, we cannot provide a guaranteed timeframe.
