Spectrasonics was founded in 1994 by Los Angeles composer Eric Persing and his wife Lorey, Spectrasonics quickly became a leading developer of world-class sampled sound libraries. As Chief Sound Designer for Roland Corporation since 1984, Eric was already well-known in the music industry for creating many of the most popular sounds in classic synthesizers, including the ground breaking Roland D-50. Although a relatively young brand, Spectrasonics have fast become one of the companies leading the way in virtual software instruments. They are most well known for creating one of the most powerful virtual synths you can get in Omnisphere and Omnisphere 2.

Spectrasonics users include the world’s biggest recording artists, producers, TV & film composers and game developers. Instruments can be heard in thousands of hit records, top-selling games, television shows and major motion pictures. They have won awards for every instrument they’ve produced.

Omnisphere is the flagship synthesizer of Spectrasonics and is considered as an essential source of sonic inspiration by top artists all over the world. This award-winning software brings many different types of synthesis together into one amazing-sounding instrument that will spark a lifetime of exploration. Used by the likes of DJ super producers Deadmau5 and Steve Aoki to name a few.

As well as Omnisphere, we also stock Spectrasonics’ latest hit KEYSCAPE, which takes virtual pianos to the next level featuring the largest selection of collector keyboards in the world. From “holy grail” pianos to stunning keyboards you didn’t even know existed, an absolute dream for composers and producers and keyboard enthusiasts.
