The RCF SUB 8004-AS is one of the most powerful 18” subwoofers in pro-sound category. Featuring a high power, hypervented 18” woofer, with 4” inside/outside voice coils, this cabinet is designed to deliver a serious amount of low frequency. Powered by a 1250W digital amplifier module, the SUB 8004-AS can perform in the most demanding situations. The input board includes volume control, deep/punch switch, high pass switch, phase switch, cardioid, time delay.

    • POWERFUL CLASS D AMPLIFIERS
    RCF's Class-D power amplifier technology packs huge performance operating with high efficiency into a lightweight solution. RCF amplifiers deliver an ultra-fast attack, realistic transient response, and impressive audio performance. The amplifier features a solid machined aluminium structure which not only stabilises the amplifier during transportation but also helps the fan-less heat dissipation. All the amplifiers present SMPS power supply section to produce maximum output and minimum weight.

    RCF specialises in developing advanced transducer technology including the application of high-tech materials such as Neodymium, Carbon Fiber, Pure Titanium, Kevlar, Kapton and Mylar hybrids. With over 60 years of design and manufacturing experience in the market, RCF has been instrumental in technological inventions such as carbon fiber cone molding, double silicon spiders, inside/outside voice coil windings to edge wound voice coil manufacturing and pure titanium diaphragm forming. Our latest developments have resulted in designing state of the art neodymium magnetic circuits, radically new voice coil ventilation systems and ground breaking direct drive voice coil assemblies.

    CABINET & MECHANICS
    The RCF cabinets are made of baltic birch plywood coated with a textured black finish. The subs are stackable and light-weight, for easy set-up and tear down, thanks to the ergonomic handles. A pole receptacle on top and side allows the use of the box in various configurations. The powder coated front grille integrates a special transparent-to-sound foam backing on the inside to further protect the transducers from dust.

    All items are sent with DPD. For added security, expensive items will require a pin code at delivery which is emailed to you.

    DPD aims to deliver next day, but some remote parts of the UK may experience a two day service.

    Returns.

    Should you wish to change your mind, you have 30 days from the date of receipt to do so. Simply drop us an email to info@westenddj.co.uk and we'll guide you through the process.

    Westend DJ recommend that you open any items received from us carefully, as any damage to the internal packaging or missing items may incur a discretionary re-stocking fee.

    Some goods are not eligible for return. This is because they are either consumables or due to hygiene reasons, these include: microphones, effect fluids, styli, crossfaders and line faders, headphones and replacement parts.

    • All products are backed up by a minimum 12 month
      manufacturer warranty.
    • Items that are faulty within thirty days of receipt are
      considered Dead on Arrival or Faulty out of Box. For these returns, we will arrange for the goods to be collected so that they can be returned free of
      charge.
    • Items that display a fault after the thirty-day period are covered under manufacturer’s warranty. During the first six months of ownership, we’ll collect any faulty items from you free of charge where convenient for you.
    • Outside of 6 months, the cost of return rests with the
      customer, if you’re struggling to ship a large item back to us, or if this is proving to be expensive please give us a call – we’ll arrange for DPD to collect the item for a fee.
    • Once warranty repairs are received back with us, we’ll perform a quick test to verify the issue to avoid no fault found fees. Next, we’ll arrange to send the faulty goods to the manufacturer to be repaired. This process normally takes around two to four weeks; however, we cannot provide a guaranteed timeframe.
