SSL CONNEX is the ultimate portable USB microphone for content creation, music recording and conference calls. Featuring an advanced quad microphone array with four specially defined user modes, the CONNEX enhances sound quality whether you’re filming a group podcast, your latest live stream, or recording vocals and instruments wherever inspiration strikes.

CONNEX is powered by sophisticated studio quality digital signal processing (DSP), which uses a combination of SSL's renowned EQ and dynamics processing algorithms. Intelligent dynamic noise reduction works in harmony with the quad mic array and DSP to make sure you're heard even in the busiest of environments. SSL CONNEX even makes spacial recording easy with an advanced immersive mode.

Solo Mode
Optimised for a single 'spoken' sound source, e.g. conference / Working from home calls or live streaming with a single presenter. CONNEX is optimized for speech coming from the front while reducing unwanted sound from back and side faces. Struggling to make clear calls in a busy office, café or airport lounge, ‘White: Solo mode’ is the answer.

Group Mode
Designed for multiple 'spoken' sound sources e.g. round table conference call or live streaming with multiple presenters, SSL CONNEX’s quad microphone array and optimised mixer setting means all presenters are clearly heard and unwanted background noise isn’t.

Vocal Mode
Vocal mode is for when inspiration hits and you just have to record that performance. Utilising legendary SSL EQ and dynamics processing algorithms to enhance your recording or live stream, Vocal mode will reject sound from the sides and rear of SSL CONNEX making your performance absolutely sing.

Music Mode
Designed for a group of musicians, Music mode allows creativity as a group be captured. SSL CONNEX intelligently alters the sensitivity of the microphone array to reduce the noise floor and unwanted background noise. Blue: Music mode accepts louder signals commonly found on acoustic instruments. Combine this with CONNEX’ sophisticated studio quality processing and you’re on the way to a great sounding track.

Immersive mode
All four of SSL CONNEX’ User Modes feature an advanced immersive setting, letting you access all four of microphone signals independently for the purpose of immersive recordings or broadcasts. Want cutting-edge content or to explore spatial mixing? Switch SSL CONNEX into Immersive mode.

All items are sent with DPD. For added security, expensive items will require a pin code at delivery which is emailed to you.

DPD aims to deliver next day, but some remote parts of the UK may experience a two day service.

Returns.

Should you wish to change your mind, you have 30 days from the date of receipt to do so. Simply drop us an email to info@westenddj.co.uk and we'll guide you through the process.

Westend DJ recommend that you open any items received from us carefully, as any damage to the internal packaging or missing items may incur a discretionary re-stocking fee.

Some goods are not eligible for return. This is because they are either consumables or due to hygiene reasons, these include: microphones, effect fluids, styli, crossfaders and line faders, headphones and replacement parts.

All products are backed up by a minimum 12 month
manufacturer warranty.
Items that are faulty within thirty days of receipt are
considered Dead on Arrival or Faulty out of Box. For these returns, we will arrange for the goods to be collected so that they can be returned free of
charge.
Items that display a fault after the thirty-day period are covered under manufacturer’s warranty. During the first six months of ownership, we’ll collect any faulty items from you free of charge where convenient for you.
Outside of 6 months, the cost of return rests with the
customer, if you’re struggling to ship a large item back to us, or if this is proving to be expensive please give us a call – we’ll arrange for DPD to collect the item for a fee.
Once warranty repairs are received back with us, we’ll perform a quick test to verify the issue to avoid no fault found fees. Next, we’ll arrange to send the faulty goods to the manufacturer to be repaired. This process normally takes around two to four weeks; however, we cannot provide a guaranteed timeframe.
