The Allen & Heath Xone:92-A is a limited edition four channel analogue DJ Mixer. With just 920 units available worldwide to celebrate 20 years of moving dance floors, this version features a number of upgrades over the standard Xone:92.

Tackling the obvious, the top plate is old school silver, perfect if you have a Technics SL1200MK7 or four which need a premium mixer to connect with. Aside from the mention of limited edition on the front of the chassis, and the specially designed serial number plate, which is engraved, that’s all the cosmetic giveaways covered. There are some additional items included with each of the 920 Xone:92-A mixers: a dog tag with the serial number engraved, an individually signed and numbered fine art print from the Worxlab and even the box has been pimped!

With the cosmetics out of the way, let’s get under the hood of the Xone:92-A and see what the team at Allen & Heath have been working on. Firstly, don’t panic – the 100% analogue circuitry and mix bus summing that has made this mixer a firm favourite in the hands of countless DJs remains intact, as does the precision 4-band EQ controls. The phono channels now have optimised RIAA preamps to deliver the best possible sound quality for vinyl DJs – helping to lift unprecedented detail from the grooves of your collection.

The filter section has been the subject of some extra tweaks, with silent-switching now in place – gone are those noisy filter activations that have been a Xone:92 characteristic many DJs have needed to work around. In addition, the Xone:VCF Filters have been refined to offer enhanced control, without sacrificing the 92’s legendary sonic character.

Speaking of refinements, the Penny & Giles crossfader has been replaced with a custom mini innoFADER Pro. This crossfader has been tuned to match the curve of the original P&G fader from the Xone:92 to deliver a just as smooth mixing experience. To further enhance the mixing experience, there’s a new 3-way global channel fader curve switch. You can now customise the curves to suit your playing style.

Moving on to the final refinement of the Allen & Heath Xone:92-A, the microphone clean feed system is now easily accessed from the rear of the unit. The inclusion of switches on the rear panel makes signal routing for the mics simple, which is great for DJs who want to include the mic output when streaming, or perhaps have an MC jumping on the set.

All items are sent with DPD. For added security, expensive items will require a pin code at delivery which is emailed to you.

DPD aims to deliver next day, but some remote parts of the UK may experience a two day service.

Returns.

Should you wish to change your mind, you have 30 days from the date of receipt to do so. Simply drop us an email to info@westenddj.co.uk and we'll guide you through the process.

Westend DJ recommend that you open any items received from us carefully, as any damage to the internal packaging or missing items may incur a discretionary re-stocking fee.

Some goods are not eligible for return. This is because they are either consumables or due to hygiene reasons, these include: microphones, effect fluids, styli, crossfaders and line faders, headphones and replacement parts.

All products are backed up by a minimum 12 month
manufacturer warranty.
Items that are faulty within thirty days of receipt are
considered Dead on Arrival or Faulty out of Box. For these returns, we will arrange for the goods to be collected so that they can be returned free of
charge.
Items that display a fault after the thirty-day period are covered under manufacturer’s warranty. During the first six months of ownership, we’ll collect any faulty items from you free of charge where convenient for you.
Outside of 6 months, the cost of return rests with the
customer, if you’re struggling to ship a large item back to us, or if this is proving to be expensive please give us a call – we’ll arrange for DPD to collect the item for a fee.
Once warranty repairs are received back with us, we’ll perform a quick test to verify the issue to avoid no fault found fees. Next, we’ll arrange to send the faulty goods to the manufacturer to be repaired. This process normally takes around two to four weeks; however, we cannot provide a guaranteed timeframe.
