We have tested the HDC1000 with USB sticks, MP3 players, hubs, hard drives, USB CD drives and even a mobile phone! Simply plug in the USB devices (upto 4 allowed) in either the rear or front socket and the HDC-1000 will allow you to play the tracks straight away.
The HDC-1000 will also reconize playlists from your iPod
The Cortex HDC1000 is housed in a very solid, 2u high rackmount chasis and includes small brackets to allw the unit to sit perfectly on a desktop.
You can browse the files using the normal MP3 tags, so by artist, title, album or genre. There is even software included to create your own style database on your pc.
Once playing you can pitch control the song with an adjustable control of 4/8/16 and 24% as well as using the wheel to pitch bend.
The latest software updates now allow the user to scratch files and search for tracks using a USB keyboard.
